​Hi, I’m Dr. Catherine Yuen, DMSc, MPH, PA-C, but you can call me Dr. Cat! I’m the founder of The BendyCare Clinic, a fellow zebra, and a firm believer that healthcare should be as unique as the people it serves. Living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), POTS, MCAS, and all the fun surprises that come with them, I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to feel unheard, dismissed, or stuck in a cycle of trial-and-error care. That’s why I created this clinic to offer real support, real solutions, and real understanding for people like us.

I’m not just a provider; I’m a patient too. I know what it’s like to scroll through research articles at 2 AM, to carefully plan my day around energy levels, and to celebrate the small wins (like a day with zero joint subluxations!). With a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), I’ve dedicated my career to bridging the gap in care for people with hypermobility and connective tissue disorders, because we deserve better.
